A: Even if mold is “dead” the allergens that some people are sensitive to are still there.  The mold may not spread but if it gets airborne it can still trigger reactions among sensitive individuals.  Bleach is not recommended for dealing with mold.  Soap and warm water is just as effective and does not have the same strong chemicals as bleach. – Paul Francisco
